RF/Microwave Design Engineer

Salary + bonus based on performance.
Our client is seeking an RF microwave Engineer to join the technical staff for RF/Microwave Solid State Device design, including Power Devices in the 10 MHz to 18 GHz range with partial or full design responsibility.
Helps in development of fabrication & packaging processes, as well as product specification to match the customer's needs & cost objectives
Supports sales & marketing in booking activities through customer contacts, such as plant visits, trade shows, and direct engineer-to-engineer interface.
Supports purchasing in material procurement activities.
MSEE preferred. MIN. BSEE to be considered.
MUST have 5-7 years of design & development experience with the above responsibilities to include testing & troubleshooting of RF/Microwave solid-state devices (i.e. switches, limiters, duplexers, MMIC LNA's, power amplifiers, other solid-state power devices, et. al.) in the MHZ to 18 GHz range to include specification development and integration.
MUST have exp. and thorough understanding of solid-state device physics & materials, as well as fabrication, packaging & assembly processes and shielding with RFI/EMI considerations.
Experience with MMIC integration, SMT/trough-hole and thin/thick film design considerations.
Experience with CAE simulation/analysis and schematic generation such as Touchstone, SPICE, Super Compact, Libra, Eagleware, etc.
CAD, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Pro-E, or PCAD familiarity is HIGHLY DESIRABLE.
MUST be a self-starter capable of managing all activities associated with carrying out your assigned responsibilities.
